Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point system is a process control system that identifies where hazards might occur in the food production process and puts into place stringent actions to take to prevent the hazards from occurring. Like, we wear disposable masks when baking and wash our hands with pre mixed (24c) (Elbow operated taps) water and hand sanitizer every 45 minutes and every time we have to touch something else beside the food as a rule. (Supervised) We do not wear jewelry and false nails. We have very strict glass, plastic and cut policies in place. Our uniforms do not have pockets and buttons. All our doors and windows are screened so you do not get insects in your cones! We use strictly Haccp approved food grade chemicals to keep our plant crispy clean, we wear special uniforms and hygienic Gum boots in our baking areas We walk through foot baths to sanitize our boots before we enter our baking areas to bake your favorite ice cream cones. (You can see one of our foot baths above) We even send our tap water, hand swabs, air plates, finished product, raw materials to independent labaratories for regular testing! All our scales, Hygro Thermometers gets calibrated (Sanas approved and verifications done daily) We keep samples of finished products for 12 months and get regular testing of our batches at our independent laboratory. (Microbiological and shelf life.) We provide regular in house training, exams and certificates for our staff in food safety by qualified food safety professionals. Please consult with us for food safety rules and regulations we are ready to help. We are always systematically on the look out for anything that can risk your pleasure and health!
